Dolce Latte Cafe, Concord

How was it?
Food: 7.5/10
Service: 6/10
Ambience: 6/10
Value: $$

When K wants something, she normally gets it. So one evening we were sitting around and she said 'I feel like pizza'. 5 minutes later we were on Majors Bay Rd in Concord, walking into Dolce Latte Cafe. I frequented this place quite often during my high school days, it has since changed ownership, but everything still looks the same. When you walk in you will see their wide selection of gelato (yum - I love gelato :), there's also a wide array of cakes and biscuits to tempt you. But we were here for one thing, and one thing only. And that was pizza.

Don't look too closely, you'll get sucked in!

Con Pollo $19.50 (large)
Tomato, mozzorella, chicken breast, sundried tomatoes, marinated artichoke topped with pesto & basil

The thin slices of pizza were packed full of flavour and cheesy goodness. We devoured this pretty quickly and were very much satisfied! After finishing off the pizza, we sat back and rubbed our bellies and thought about our next conquest - gelato!  You can't come to this place without getting gelato, you just can't. So we went back into the cafe and checked out their selection. I chose my good ol favourites - hazelnut and pistachio, and K chose raspberry sorbet and tiramisu. Despite it being cold outside, I'm the kind of girl that likes ice-cream/gelato, no matter what the temperature is outside, so I was very happy indeed :)

Overall:
A place to satisfy all kinds of cravings, from the savoury to the sweet. It's good to know that there are great local cafe's like Dolce Latte Cafe that will always satisfy and never disappoint you.
